Question

Answer

What happened to E-Tools?

The license with Wizards of the Coast was ended in November of 2006. There was a 2 year support clause that was in place after that. Once that 2 year support clause was over, we can not support E-Tools in any capacity.

What happened to the E-Tools and PCGen WotC data sets?

The license with Wizards of the Coast was ended in November of 2006. There was a 2 year support clause that was in place after that. Once that 2 year support clause was over, we can not support E-Tools in any capacity.

This means no downloads from the store either. all references to the WotC material (E-Tools, E-Tools & PCGen data sets) have been removed from the store.

Links to those products will no longer work in any way.

Where is RPGF, RPGFoundry or whatever you're calling it? It was supposed to be released years ago! It's nothing but vaporware! Give it up, you'll never release it!

Yes, it was supposed to be released years ago. Repeated developer and other life issues have continuously conspired to delay things time and time again.

It IS being worked on, there are some changes to it (see the forum section for more info), and it WILL be released.

Any software is 'vaporware' until it's released true, but no, we won't 'give it up'. it will be completed.

What happened to Lone Jedi and Merton Monk, why aren't they owners anymore?

Lone Jedi chose after the Wizards of the Coast license expired to leave the company for reasons entirely his own.

Merton Monk is still with CMP, he's coding, he just didn't have time for administration due to other life commitments (like a new wife and baby!).
